Gold and Sullivan acquired 50 per cent of West Ham United earlier this year by buying out other shareholders.

The pair, who are both joint chairmen and former Birmingham City owners, took on the club despite an estimated £110million debts. They look to improve the financial situation by the selling of players over the summer and in the January transfer window.
