Based on the novel Paranoid Park by Blake Nelson, this film is tells the story of teenage skateboarder, Alex who accidently kills a security guard and the way he learns to deal with his guilt.

This film won the Boston Society of Film Critics Award for Best Director, as well as the Prix du 60me anniversaire, from the Cannes Film Festival.
