Big Brother's Nadia was quite a hit with the ladies before her sex change operation, according to the new Miss Portugal.

Marina Rodrigues grew up in the same town as Nadia, who was once known as Jorge.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, the 19-year-old beauty contest winner revealed that all the girls in Campanario fancied Jorge.

"Nadia was very handsome when she was a boy," she said. "All the young girls were after him."

The remaining Big Brother housemates have no idea that Nadia used to be a man, although Jason and Victor discussed the possibility during one of their late night chats last week.

Victor was shown the door last Friday and was suitably shocked when Davina confirmed his suspicions on live TV.

Nadia meanwhile is hoping that her appearance on Big Brother will help her in her quest to find a man.

During a heart-to-heart with loved up Michelle last night, she moaned: "Men hate me, women love me. The story of my life."

All six remaining housemates - Dan, Jason, Shell, Nadia, Stuart and Michelle - face a public vote tonight as the hit Channel 4 show heads into its final week.
