Celebrity Wrestling star Victoria Silvstedt went AWOL during training to attend a party in Italy, infuriating TV bosses, the Daily Mirror reports today.

The Swedish-born model skipped training but returned twelve hours later, revealing she had been to Milan for a champagne party.

"Everyone was furious she vanished without telling them," the Daily Mirror quotes an "insider" as saying.

"No one could get hold of her on the phone and the producers didn't have a clue where she was. In the end, they were just very relieved to see her back."

She also raised the ire of producers by spending too much time on her mobile phone.

Silvstedt said the show was tough going and much harder than she expected.

"I've got bruising, I'm red and I've banged my head. We've been fighting like cats and rats."

Silvstedt takes on Jenny Powell in tonight's ITV1 show.
