ITV is planning a new late night spin-off of the hugely popular Footballers' Wives.

The follow up programme is expected to be even more raunchy than the original and will be called "Extra Time".

Footballers' Wives is currently in its second season and as soon as it comes to an end in May Extra Time will kick off on ITV2.

The cast of the new series will include newcomer Georgina Mellor as Tanya Turner's sister Anika.

A spokesman for the producers of the hit series told The Sun: "If you thought Footballers' Wives was sexy then you've haven't seen anything yet.

"This is a late-night version which you could say is like Footballers' Wives extreme.

"It will feature a whole new cast but some of the normal show's regulars will be making an appearance. We're really excited about it!"
