Lindsay Lohan narrowly escaped serious injury after her car was hit by a speeding paparazzi pursuing her.
The 'Mean Girls' actress was driving away from a Beverly Hills restaurant when the terrifying accident took place.
According to reports, Lohan, 18, was followed by shutterbug Galo Ramirez in a high-speed chase which ended when the photographer smashed into the driver's side of her Mercedes car - ripping the door open.
The sexy star was left with injuries to her neck, but luckily managed to avoid serious harm.
Ramirez, 24, was arrested and charged on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon before being released on $35,000 bail.
Investigators say they believe the collision was intentional.
It has also been revealed that Lohan telephoned police from her car just before the crash to report she was being harassed by paparazzi.
The star's mother, Dina, admits she feared the worse when she heard about the crash and is thankful her daughter was relatively unscathed.
Lohan is the latest in a litany of stars to be terrorised by the US paparazzi in recent months.
Jennifer Lopez narrowly escaped a car crash recently after being chased by paparazzi, while Reese Witherspoon was last month hounded all the way to her home.
