Lord of the Rings heartthrob Orlando Bloom wouldn't say no to a part in Corrie - as long as he was paid enough.
The Canterbury-born actor hasn't had a moments peace recently, flying from film to film ever since he won the part of arrow-wielding Legolas in the Tolkien trilogy.
But the 28-year-old has revealed that his glamorous lifestyle, which sees him regularly jet-setting between London and Los Angeles, has left him missing home quite a bit.
"I miss the English culture in general and the sense of humour. I even have cravings for the grey weather sometimes - the rain and the dreary days," he told Heat magazine.
Unsurprisingly, therefore, he has admitted that he wouldn't be averse to a bit of acting in one of Britain's top soaps - although Orlando's nostalgia for rain may not stretch to moving to Manchester, where Corrie is filmed.
"I suppose it would depend on how good the money was, and if it was a really good role," the Pirates of the Caribbean star said. "And whether I could live up north."
Orlando, whose latest swashbuckler, Kingdom of Heaven, is out this summer, would find himself in good company if he did sign up, as fellow Lord of the Rings star Sir Ian McKellen recently joined the cast of Corrie as a dodgy author.
