A source said: "At one juncture both Kelly and her mum broke down in tears. The therapist was asking lots of questions about Sharon and Ozzy's parenting. It was heavy stuff."
Speaking in an interview after the episode was aired, Sharon said the cameras had become "part of the family" and the show was an "amazing experience".
Last month, Sharon confessed to undergoing a three hour appointment with a therapist to improve her parenting skills.
She said the intensive session was because she had was "seriously f****d up" and had made some big mistakes.
She confessed: "I don't think I'm a good mum. I tried my best but there are no schools for mums."
