Rockstar Games are famous for a whole slew of huge games. The Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto series are just two of this developer's most brilliant games, but there are plenty more besides. While some of the quests from these games are straightforward, some of them are fiendishly difficult. It's great to have a mixture of quests that you can blast through and quests that require every ounce of your skill, precision, and concentration. So, for that reason, we're going to take a look at the most devilishly difficult quests that Rockstar Games have ever blessed us with, starting with a fan favorite from Red Dead Redemption II.
The Gambler Challenge - Red Dead Redemption II
If you're a true fan of the Red Dead Redemption series then you'll know how difficult it is to complete the games to the hallowed one hundred percent level. Each of the two games has a compendium of challenges, that you need to complete in addition to the quests. Some of the challenges are fairly straightforward, but others are fiendishly difficult and the Gambler Challenge certainly falls into the latter category. This challenge has a selection of requirements, including winning games of five-finger fillet, and dominoes, but the most difficult part of the challenge is doubling down and winning a game of blackjack five times. This is a super tricky challenge, even for a seasoned blackjack player, but for those of us who don't play cards regularly, it's almost impossible. One of the best bits of advice for this challenge is to learn to play blackjack for real, in order to help you work out your chances, and play to the optimum strategy in the game. All of the best online casinos in the UK offer blackjack as a game, which means it's incredibly easy to start playing. It's also possible to print out a copy of the optimum blackjack strategy to have on hand so that if Arthur gets a little floundered, you've got a cheat sheet to rely on.
Crystal Maze - Grand Theft Auto V
Grand Theft Auto V is one of the most popular video games for a reason, it invites players into a difficult and dangerous world, but perhaps nowhere more difficult or dangerous than the O'Neil brothers' house. In this quest, you'll be playing as Trevor and it's your job to eliminate the competition in order to enable Mr. Cheng to do business with the O'Neil brothers uninterrupted. In true GTA style, the only way of doing this is by shooting down the competition one by one. This sounds simple enough but is made considerably more difficult when you realize that the house you'll be finding the competition in is nothing short of a maze. There are corridors, snickelways, cupboards, and hidden rooms, where the competition can hide. At the same time as trying to shoot down your competition, you've got to be careful not to explode any of the scientific equipment, or you could have a seriously big mess on your hands.
The Sport of Kings (And Liars) - Red Dead Redemption
Cast your mind back to the original Red Dead Redemption game and the chances are you might remember this quest. Horses are a huge part of the gameplay, but every now and again you'll lose a horse during a mission and not quite have the funds to get yourself one with the same kind of stats. Generally, you can pootle through until you come across a wild horse that lives up to the task, or you make enough funds to splash out on a new neddy. However, that is not the case if you start this quest, where it's essential that you have one of the better horses in the game in order to stand a chance. You're challenged to a horse race in this game, and if you haven't been practicing your horsemanship, and you haven't got a fast and willing horse in your stable, then you'll absolutely come up short.
Derailed - Grand Theft Auto V
Our final mission is from Grand Theft Auto V and will take all of your hand-eye coordination to complete. In this mission you'll need to land safely on a moving train, which sounds difficult in itself, but is only made even more tricky when you discover you've got to do it whilst driving a Sanchez. Once you make it to the roof of the train, you've got to guide your motorbike across the top of the carriages, making sure not to fall into the gaps in between. What's more, when the train crashes, you've got to escape unharmed, which we won't spoil for you, but won't be easy!
