Seven blue-chip companies are set to provide expert business and technical support to the growing number of SMEs at Sci-Tech Daresbury.
The seven Gold Partners, namely Michael Page, Grant Thornton, Marks & Clerk, IBM, Slater Heelis, RTC North, and the University of Liverpool, will provide support in the areas of financial and tax management, intellectual property, legal services, corporate finance & funding, recruitment and retention services, technology commercialisation, scientific research and cloud solutions. Michael Page, the newest Gold Partner, is to provide talent attraction and retention advice to tenants based on site.
Sci-Tech Daresbury is a private-public joint venture partnership between the Halton Borough Council, developer Langtree and the Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC).
John Downes, group chief executive of Langtree and chairman of the Sci-Tech Daresbury joint venture company, said: “Each year, the Gold Partners provide an invaluable pool of expert skills and knowledge for our companies to tap into to support the growth of these dynamic businesses.
“Many of this year’s Gold Partners are long-term supporters of the programme and we’re delighted to welcome recruitment expert Michael Page on board for the first time this year.”
