'Desperate Housewives' star Jesse Metcalfe has vowed never to have an affair with a married woman.
The handsome actor - who plays gardener John in the hit show - says he wouldn't want to deal with the complications that come with extra-marital affairs.
Jesse, whose character who has affair with Eva Longoria's character Gabrielle Solis, said: "I've never had an affair with a married woman. That would be asking for trouble, wouldn't it?"
However, the 27-year-old heartthrob says he prefers older women as they have more experience.
He added in an interview with Britain's Glamour magazine: "As for older women, I have had relationships with people who were not my age. I certainly wouldn't date someone much younger than me. It's frustrating to be with someone who doesn't have the same life experience."
