Ryan Clark could be part of EastEnders but only if he can convince BBC bosses to give him a contract.
The X Factor star said that he’s thinking about branching out into acting and he thinks Walford is the perfect place to start out.
He said: "I'd love to get into acting. I just love EastEnders. "People think I was born in Essex but I was born in Stepney in East London. I think I could do it. It would be great to play a proper hardpan."
He added: "I could join as the Carters or be a long-lost slater. Or I could be a Mitchell. Actually, I love Kathy Beale so much. She's my idol. So I'd want to be her long-lost son. I could do a South African accent."
Meanwhile, Rylan is set to release his debut album.
"It's not the Rylan you saw on The X Factor – I'm hoping to really surprise people. The thing is, I can actually sing – I hope people know that three years on."
