Developments in wireless technologies continue to improve to provide users with better, improved experience. Some of the most exciting innovations that are set to improve the way we connect to the Internet when away from home are called Virtual Bluetooth Low Energy (vBLE) beacons. These allow for super accurate location services by creating a finely personalised service.
There are numerous applications and over the next few years, these location-based services will become a part of solutions that businesses across a range of sectors will adopt. Virtual BLE helps customers determine their exact location so they won’t be lost while navigating a labyrinthine building, a huge store or a complicated museum. This also helps employees in identifying the location of customers so they can provide assistance when needed. Aside from GPS, vBLE can also provide customers information on a product or a work of art while inside a museum. The beacons can pinpoint which product the customer is looking at and provide specifications via mobile phone.
