Tens of thousands of TalkTalk customers have experienced trouble connecting to the internet on Friday morning. More than 30,000 of them from around the UK took to DownDetector, a popular tracking website, to report the problem starting at 10:00 BST.
Thousands of customers also flooded TalkTalk's Twitter feed to complain their inability to work from home due to connection issues.
The firm responded at around 11:30BST to confirm that the problem has been resolved but did not provide any details about the cause.
In a statement, the company said: "We're aware that some customers were unable to access certain websites for a short period earlier today.
"The issue has now been resolved and we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused."
